De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

Both rings in this galaxy are exceptionally well-defined. The inner ring is a closed oval that shows enhanced blue colors in a B-I color index map (Buta and Crocker 1991), indicating the ring has active star formation in spite of the galaxy's very early type. The R1 is well-defined, and two faint arms break from this feature in the outer disk.
