De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

This is a very good example of the type, although the structure is complex. The spiral pattern is asymmetric and in several locations looks ring-like. The (rs) refers to the ring-like pattern about half the diameter of the star-forming part of the disk. The B-V color index map reveals a partial dust ring in the central region.
