De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

Similar to NGC 266 , this is another case where the outer arms do not form an (R'). The inner ring in this case, however, is perfectly closed and is therefore a true ring. The bar is elongated along the apparent ring major axis, but underfills that axis noticeably. A weak dust lane is seen on one side of the bar. Only one outer arm is well-defined. Inside the bar, a nearly circular nuclear ring is found. This ring appears to include a secondary bar (Mulchaey et al. 1997; Erwin 2004).
