De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

NGC 3627 shows a fairly obvious bar with two strong, dusty spiral arms. The whole pattern appears imbedded in a bright background of disk light, with evidence of tidal distortion on the west side. NGC 3627 is a member of the Leo Triplet, and may be interacting with nearby companion NGC 3628 (Zhang et al. 1993; Chemin et al. 2003).
