De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

This very late-type spiral has a strong, patchy, dusty bar with virtually no core, just like the other SBd's. The inner ring is an ill-defined feature, mostly a few bright knots lining the edge of a lens -like zone around the bar. The outer arms are asymmetric and patchy. We favor the Sd classification because of the lack of any central concentration. The brightest spot in the bar is well off center and is probably not a true nucleus.
