De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

This galaxy resembles NGC 2841 , although it includes more continuous spiral arms. The tightly-wrapped arms, the large bulge, and the light patchiness favor the Sab classification. The R' is actually fairly well-defined and is made of the two main inner arms. Additional spiral structure lies beyond this apparent ring.
