De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

NGC 3906 shows an off-centered bar that is more typical of SBm types, but it has a more extensive disk and better-defined spiral structure, thus we adopt an Sdm classification. The inner pseudoring is a weak feature of the wrapped arm type. The bar is very well-defined, patchy, and lacks any trace of a bulge or nucleus.
