De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

NGC 4145 has a very good patchy, late-type bar. The inner pseudoring is made from two well-defined spiral arms and is exceptionally good for such a late-type . It is of the bracket (NGC 4548 ) type. The disk and outer arms are very extensive compared to the size of the inner pseudoring and bar.
