De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

This highly inclined system has a conspicuous inner ring and may be non-barred, although the heavy near-side extinction precludes our ruling out a highly foreshortened bar. The ring seems well-defined and is knotty, indicating it includes active star formation. The outer disk includes mainly weak spiral dust features. The S0/a classification is based on weak spiral features in this region.
