De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

The bar is very well-defined and appears to slightly underfill an excellent inner pseudoring of the bracket (NGC 4548 ) type. The ring is fairly open on one side. Outside this region, the pattern very much resembles NGC 1433 in having a faint outer pseudoring and weak possible ``plume" features located off the leading sides of the inner pseudoring . Although there is some dust in the bar, there are no obvious leading dust lanes .
