De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

The bar is very well-defined and is not an ansae type. Near the ends of the bar, weak traces of spiral features are seen. These are the basis for the (s) classification. Although the RC3 type is S0/a, we believe NGC 4665 is a good protoype for the classification SB(s)0+.
