De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

NGC 5273 is a very early (s)-variety galaxy and is the only clearcut example of its type in the Atlas. In the inner regions, a tightly wrapped spiral of very low contrast arms is found. This spiral is too weak to merit a later classification, as in SB94.
