De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

NGC 5365 is noteworthy for its strong ansae-type bar and its bright extended disk. This extended disk includes a faint trace of an outer ring, one of the earliest known examples. The center harbors a secondary bar which was also noted by Mulchaey et al. (1997) and Erwin (2004). There is no trace of an inner ring or lens.
