De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

The bar is a relatively weak feature in this galaxy, although it may be somewhat foreshortened by the high inclination . The inner ring is a conspicuous feature having more than twice the diameter of the apparent bar. The Sb classification is based on the extensive and well-developed spiral pattern, the significant bulge, and the considerable patchiness of the arms. The galaxy is a good example of its type.
