De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

The inner pseudoring is very well-defined in this galaxy, and is the dominant morphological feature; it has a rectangular, even slightly hexagonal shape and is made of segments of at least three spiral arms. At the distance of 59 Mpc (Ho=75), the diameter of the ring would be 12 kpc, again a very large feature. Outside the pseudoring is a more oval zone. Buta (1995) identified a second faint ring beyond this zone on an SRC-J sky survey chart. NGC 6935 has a companion, NGC 6937 , a later-type barred spiral.
