De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

The spiral structure in this galaxy is ill-defined and has a patchiness very characteristic of this part of the Hubble sequence. A significant bulge is present as is an inner, patchy disk. The spiral structure could be partly defined by dust. The Sbc classification is based on the knotty character of the disk and arms.
