De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

Although classified similarly, NGC 7633 is different from NGC 2859 and 3945 in several respects. First, the bar is much stronger-looking and lacks ansae , while the bars in NGC 2859 and 3945 are primarily defined by ansae . Secondly, the inner ring of NGC 7633 is also better defined than those in NGC 2859 and 3945, which are largely lenses. Lastly, the outer ring of NGC 7633 is not detached from the bar/inner ring region but connects to it near the bar major axis. We recognize the outer ring as an R1 type, and it is possible it may be made of two spiral arms.
