De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

Although the outer disk isophotes are well-defined, the inner disk includes disorganized knots in ill-defined spiral features. Some of these features may be defined mainly by dust. The galaxy appears to have a very small core, and seems a good example of an Sd type. The inner regions give the impression of a weak bar or oval.
