De Vaucouleurs Atlas Description:

We suspect a highly foreshortened bar in this galaxy because of the way the inner pseudoring looks filled along its minor axis. The ring itself is complex and appears made of tightly wrapped spiral structure. It is well enough defined to merit an (rs) classification. The outer arms are patchy and ill-defined, but the galaxy is a good example of an Sb type.
